Photobiomodulation (PBM) using LEDs (light-emitting diodes) is a new technology that is nonthermal, non-invasive, pain-free, with nearly no contraindications and having no side effects; it is UV-free, suitable for all skin types and is used to stimulate natural biological processes of cell regeneration to reduce or erase damage caused by the passage of time. The process involves endogenous chromophores engendering photophysical and photochemical events on a variety of biological scales.

The use of light energy to improve a cell’s normal biochemistry is a paradigm shift in modern approaches to skin treatments. Photobiomodulation, using light input, aims to prevent the effects of ageing.

Only a technologically advanced LED light device can provide the appropriate light wavelengths, continuous or pulsed, with sufficient power to dispense precisely the right dose through pre-set programmes. This is why the myLEDmask was designed in collaboration with the Mostleds® company.

Recommended use: for a complete treatment cycle, it is best to perform 3 to 4 sessions a week (spaced 48 hours apart) over periods of 6 to 8 weeks. Between each cycle, suspend treatments for 1 month as a rest period.

Step 1

Be sure the mask is properly charged (3.5 hours charging time), then disconnect from the power cord. Let mask sit unused for 1 hour before use.

Step 2

Cleanse and dry your face before each session to remove dirt, oil and makeup.

Step 3

If possible, position yourself in a semi-reclining position to relax and fully benefit from your session.

Step 4

Turn your mask on using
Using the control buttons, choose your phototype. The programme length adjusts automatically:

• Program 1 – skin light, pale white, white, fair: 5.35 minutes.
• Program 2 – skin medium, white to olive, moderate brown: 11.10 minutes.
• Program 3 – skin brown, dark brown, very dark, black: 13.55 minutes.

Your mask shuts off automatically once your session is over. You may manually shut it off at any time using the Start/Stop button
